i have no idea what slán means. it was at the end of an e-mail sent to me by the cranberries mailing list people. it was kind used like bye, or in my case tootles. still, it might mean something completely different.
kim, next year when we pass notes we should write in oghams. they were used in ancient ireland and are really cool. i can write in them well but i suck at reading them. when someone who has never looked at them thiks that they are just a bunch of lines. no one else will be able to read them.

you live vicariously through someone by living through them. you participate in their life without really participating physically. i am not in drawing as a second language. my mother told me she was going to see if i could, but no. she is incredibly slow(physically and mentally). i have to go to dinner. it is a creation from a weight watchers cookbook. it will probably make a reappearance tonight around 1:00 a.m.

a funny thing happened to me the other day. i went to a baseball game on a friday night. we had this amazing suite and tons of food. one inning into the game the scoreboard and the TVs weren't working. they then announce that there has been a power outage. they still could have played, but no. the game was rescheduled. the tv only got two channels, 10 and 12. making the band was on 12 but it was all fuzzy. i got a ton of spear-like toothpicks though. i created a spear-like implement of death, putting one in either end of a straw. i also put one into a straw and blew through it and shot a toothpick and my dad. teehee. fun. joy.
on another note, I'M GOING TO EUROPE ON SATURDAY!!!!!!!!! anyone who would like a postcard, who has not already given me their address, must do so immediately.
i am also happy because there is a real world special on MTV!!! happiness.

i don't think the death penalty is always wrong. in most cases i think it is, but some killers should die.
as i write i am listening to the beatles and rollerblading around my second floor. oh no. there was just a huge crash that came from the first floor. i will have to go and see what it was. the first floor has a better blading course anyways.

What kind of a musical are we going to put on w/o our director? I don't think that half of the stuff in the school is going ot happen the way it's supposed to without him there. There will be little sixth graders walking on the left side of the hallway RIGHT PAST his room! What a sacrelige (however that's spelled) and, there will be 7th graders going past the home ec. room! Another blashpemy (however that's spelled again)! But, oh well. Now I won't spas cuz I'm not in his class! LOL! Angel, you do have a life. And, I'll tty all later!!!

NO! He can't retire! That's wrong! Oh well. At least he'll be there next year. And, I wanna be in the play! I've been in two summer plays (put on by people who have no idea what they're doing) and, I could do Stage Crew too. I'm experienced at that. So, whatever. Just, cast me and I'll be there!!

something really funny happened in the giro d'italia(tour of italy. much like the tour de france, but 1)easier and 2)in italy) yesterday. the cops raided the hotel rooms searching for drugs. one of the leader's personal trainer was taken away in cuffs. racers were throwing syringes out the windows. many tried climbing out windows only to find cops at the bottom catching syringes and waiting for them. the cops took some 400 viles of drugs. finally they get caught. this charade has been going on long enough. luckily, the american riders (though few and far between) are not on drugs. another funny aspect about the european bike races is that there is a man dressed in a devil costume that runs along the side of the road. he is at every race and is always in the mountain stages. he is quite a character.
In theatre reviews:tonight i went to see a present music concert. it also featured danceworks dancers. i thought the choreography sucked, to say the least. the choreagrapher was trying to hard to be artistic and creative that it ended up being desperate and pathetic. she was trying TOO hard to be expressive. if you heard me rant about the previous PM concert, you'll know that i have a very distinct opinion(or if you talk to me about Jerusalem, you'll find that too). the concert prior to this one featured Hans Grueber, world renowned composer/drunk. he did a reading of poems/nursery rhymes to music he composed. i thought he was some nutcase they found on the street fifteen minutes before hand. they had to schedule another show because everyone wanted to see this psycho. i thought it was way beyond awful. by the by, if you ever want to impress Ms.Monroe, speak to her about PM.
my grandmother died when i was a wee infant. she had pancreatic cancer. she was diagnosed one week and died the next. her death was so short. usualy they have time to say good bye to their family and friends, but she just died. just.like.that. my grandfather died before i was born. he had hymophelia, diabetes, and arthritis. my grandfather on the other side died when i was seven. he had a stroke. he was just sixty-four. my only living grandparent is in the hospital. she had her second heart attack and while in the hospital developed a case of pneumonia. my mother says she is crumbling from the inside out due to her arthritis. she is only in her sixties.
drugs are everywhere. not necessarily the kind you buy from dealers, but some you can buy over the counter. you can abuse ANY drug. no matter how innocent it seems. they don't tell you to keep away from the ones you have access to every day in your medicine cabinet. those can be just as dangerous. some are equally addictive.
eva, please don't bug me abpout how many sentence fragments and/or spelling errors there were in that post.

It's just getting really really hard to stay away from it. I remember DARE in 5th grade when we all promised that we wouldn't do drugs. I will never do any drugs, and I know that. It's just that it's getting harder and harder to stick to that promise. It's not that I WANT to do them... it's that they are EVERYWHERE. I didn't really understand what "peer pressure" was until this year. Just when I feel like the pressure is getting to be too much and I feel like I need to get away... I turn to a different person and, what's right there, in the spotlight where I left it? Drugs, pot, cigarettes. It's not cool at all. I just don't know what to do anymore. I don't want to end up doing something that I am going to regret later just because it's EVERYWHERE I turn. I don't even know anymore. I can't take it being in my face 24/7 anymore. I'm afraid of what I might end up doing just to feel like I beat it.

OH NO GET OFF OF MY CAPS LOCK KEY YOU STUpid that's what I thought! hahahahaha! Yea! There are only 4 days of school left! Joy of joys! 2 more classes with Ms. Winter and I am soooo done with her! That goes ditto for all my other teachers! You have no idea how happy I am about that! This year has been really stressful on me. I really do think that 7th grade has a TOTALLY different social scene from the one in grade school or even from 6th grade. Do you guys know what I mean? There's a whole lot of boy/girl stuff that is new... plus, people have a lot of access to drugs. That was hard for me to deal with. Does anyone agree?
