i was thinking of the tour de france yesterday and i remembered a particularly touching part of the movie amelie. there was a thing on tv where they showed a clip from the tdf. a horse had jumped a fence and started galloping along with the riders. it is amazing to see and visually astounding. it's one thing that all people can relate to in a kinda eerie way. you feel you can relate to it even though it has nothing to do with anything. it's really fantastic. the movie itself is phenomenal, so go see it. i was truly touched by the film. BUT IT DIDN'T WIN THE GOLDEN GLOBE!!!!!!!!!! i was crushed. but the oscars are coming up. they ARE going to win there......

i was just reading the posts of olde, and we had some great conversations. some amazing things were said. i highly recommend that you all go back and read them. we talked about music, funny things, people, social issues, and anything else that we could think of. so from now on i am going to just post random things.
it's not necessarily a matter of starting a conversation, just having something to write.
i just spent the day in east troy. on of the most pathetic towns in existence, no doubt. i was volunteering at frosty fun, a girl scout event. this was so my troop can bridge. oh joy. sounds like fun. well, there were these girls and they finished skiing early, so they started playing frogger. it's one of those assasin games, if you didn't know allready. well you have to stick your tongue out and if someone sees you you die. well the girl that was the frogger was sticking out her tongue plain as day. i could see it and i was in another room. but these girls, they just sat there. like they didn't even see it! i know some of them did because she was looking right at them! cripes! so i go over there for the next game. i tell them that even if the frogger isn't looking at them and they see it, just die. they still didn't get the picture! cripes! it's like they had cement for brains! geez! come on! give me a break! i have never meet small impressionable children so dumb.
and to think, they are the future of our country....

i have the song you never give me you money stuck in my head. it is driving me crazy!!! not that it's a bad song, but when it is playing continuously in your head it starts to get a bit old(give or take the twenty or thirty-some years since the record came out). cripes. i am so bored. why is no one online at 9 in the morning? with the exception of lilly, but i am not sure about her status as a carbon based life form. i hope abbey beat the crap out of her in rocks.
